Questions that apply to every tool
Each tool page has its own notes. These are the rules that do not change between them.
Do I need an account?
No. The tools run without one. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to buy.
Do you keep the contents of my PDF?
No. The upload exists only while the job runs. When the download finishes, the server overwrites and deletes that copy. If you never download it, the same deletion happens within about 10 minutes. DocuLite does not read the document for advertising.
What happens to an encrypted PDF?
If the file asks for a password, the job stops. DocuLite does not collect PDF passwords and does not strip restrictions.
Why was a file rejected?
The usual reasons are a damaged PDF, a file that is not a PDF or a supported image, too many pages, or the daily job limit. The message on the tool page names which one it was.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel stops a queued or running job and deletes the working files. After a job succeeds, downloading also deletes the server copy. You can discard it without downloading.
How can I support DocuLite?
The tools are free. If you want to help cover the server, the donate page accepts Bitcoin only. No other coin is accepted, and there is no checkout.
