How long DocuLite keeps a file

The file itself is the short clock. When your download finishes, DocuLite overwrites that copy and deletes it. If you close the page without downloading, the same deletion runs within about 10 minutes. That is ordinary secure deletion, not a promise that a disk image from a data center could never see old blocks. The privacy policy says that plainly.

The longer clock is the job record: tool name, sizes, status, and error code, kept up to 30 days so abuse and failures can be counted. It does not include the PDF’s text. There is no public account and no history page of your documents.

There is no recovery bin. A file deleted by the download, by the short timer, by you, or by a failed job is not offered back. A legal request can only receive what still exists, which is operational metadata, and only after the request is checked. The product does not assemble a dossier of document contents, because it does not have them.
